First Green Bank, based out of central Florida, is a community bank with a global mission. Founded in 2009, First Green was built on the values of community engagement and environmental sustainability. Founder Ken LaRoe wanted to combine his love of banking with his care for the environment, but when he researched green banks, he decided to start one himself. This documentary looks at one year in the life of First Green Bank, with interviews of members of Global Alliance for Banking on Values, an organization that was formed to promote values-based banking.
