For Nimesh "Nimo" Patel of Empty Hands, it is all that and more.​ ​Once on the path to becoming a popular mainstream recording artist, Nimo Patel was struck with how many opportunities he had to use music to change the world and show kindness and compassion. As a result, he founded Empty Hands, a US-based non-profit with the goal of spreading seeds of goodness around the world and through grassroots service work for underprivileged children in the slums of Gujarat, India​. ​Empty Hands has executed a pilgrimage for the past four years across the globe to share music, stories of goodness, and support local artists. Nimo’s mission has been acknowledged by artists of many different genres, including Broadway-style and hip-hop.​ ​Music isn’t just ​about ​song​s​, ​it's​ a powerful force that has the potential to impact those of all ages and all walks of life.
