Last July, nursing school graduate Libby Sauter became the first woman to successfully cross the Lost Arrow Spire Highline, located 2,890 feet high above the Yosemite Valley floor in Yosemite National Park. Considered by many who practice the art of balance sports to be a kind of Mecca, Lost Arrow Spire's height is equal to two Empire State buildings stacked on top of the other, plus 390 feet. It was last crossed twenty-two years ago. Watch this gripping video of Libby's courage, persistence, and history-making joy.

Metro164 there is a video about of a man doing this without a safety harness. To me though, it is the same achievement, but just done stupidly instead of well.

This is a really inspiring video, which I have sent to several of my friends. The determination (and joy,) are communicated wonderfully. I felt taller after seeing it.
