Rachel Joy Scott was the first of 13 people killed in the 1999 masacre at Columbine High School. Her dream of creating a compassionate society, one kind act at a time, has become the foundation for a powerful program taught in schools across America. "I have this theory," wrote Rachel, "that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same."
