Tara Lawrence was only 10 when she watched her grandfather die of prostate cancer. Devastated by the lost, she vowed to help and advocate for the fight against cancer everywhere. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, and as a teen, founded Hats off for Cancer. The non-profit orginization's aim is to collect and give hats to children who lose their hair due to cancer treatments.
