Kevin Richardson, winner of the Volkswagen fun theory award highlights how his innovation, "Speed Camera Lottery" became reality. Cameras take pictures of speeding vehicles and charge drivers fines for speeding. These charges go into a lottery draw which a driver following the speed limit will end up winning. With drivers becoming more cautious and enthusiastic about driving under the speed limit, the average speed of the drivers has decreased by 22% since the launching of his innovation.
