As a child, Emelinda Narvaez, says she witnessed many abused and neglected dogs. She vowed to save as many lives of dogs in her community in New York when she grew up. She is doing so in a big way. Emelinda believes dogs are Angels of this Earth. That is why she spent the last 41 years of her life, saving the lives of more than 10,000 through her non-profit, Earth Angels, a no-kill canine rescue and adoption organization established to rescue homeless and abandoned dogs. Cancer didn't even stop her from her mission. She spends thousands of dollars from her social security on her passion to save the lives of as many canines as possible instead of paying for her own medical treatments. She is a true angel on earth, but with a down economy, donations are dwindling and other challenges and obstacles. Her wonderful story is an inspiration to us all!
