What inspired me about this video ? EVERYTHING ! We were born to express ourselves, and not let words of others affect who we are or could become. Thank you for the reminder!

I would have appreciated balance between male and female expression...token appreciation to Lucille Ball, the rest of the video indicated it is a man's world...not so inspired

Failure is just an outcome like a success, it gives you experience and better guidance in future than success. In success, you ignore your mistakes, and in failure you identify your mistakes. For success, experience of failure contribute

It seemed to me to be a routine, warmed-over Dale Carnegie rap. Old material reboxed for a YouTube attention-challenged audience. Flashy, pumped up. Not centered. Simplistic and amoral. We have had too much of this "success" talk. The state of the world now can be partially attributed to the love of glow and money. Success and failure are both mental and emotional traps.

Another video about the power of Failure is this one I linked to my blog SMART Living 365 with an article I wrote about the same called "Failing Forward and Other Ways to Re-Create The Future". http://smartliving365.com/?p=684 #more-684

I like the video, however, it bothers me that the only reference of success for an African American is in the field of sports. It seems stereotypical at worst, presumptive at best. Surely African Americans have more to offer for models of success than in the athletic realm?

Its simplicity. Oftentimes, we make life waaaaaay more difficult and confusing than necessary.

I was so disappointed to see this only as a video as I print off inspirational message to put in a notebook to re-view and share with others. If you're going to do videos, please recap it in writing. I work with a group in prisons and schools who can use the message, but I can't preent it to them as a video. Please consider.

THE POWER OF FAILURE, IN MY HUMBLE PERSPECTIVE, IS SIMILAR TO THE POWER OF POVERTY. THE POWER OF FAILURE, IN MY HUMBLE PERSPECTIVE,IS SIMILAR TO THE THE POWER OF POVERTY. THE DAUNTING ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES ENGUFING MY LIFE AS A POSTHUMOUS CHILD IN A FAMILY OF SIX NEVER DETERRED ME IN THE PURSUIT OF MY EDUCATIO. THERE WAS A TWO-YEAR HIATUS IN MY SECONDARY SCHOOLING WHICH GAVE ME THE TIME TO CREAT CIRCUMSTANCES TO EARN MY TUITION FEES. IN COLLEGE, LIFE WAS ALMOST UNBEARABLE DESPITE OF A FOUR-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP. IT WAS THE POVERTY THAT INSPIRED/MOTIVATED ME TO MOVE ON AND THANKS TO MY MOM WHO PROVIDED ME WITH THE STRENGTH/DISCIPLINE, SOLID CHARACTER. MY COLLEGE EDUCATION SERVED AS MY 'PASSPORT' TOWARDS THE FRUITION OF MY DREAM TO IMMIGRATE TO USA. AND USA GAVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE UP NURSING... NOT A REMARKABLE SUCCESS BUT A LITTLE SUCCESS, NEVERTHELESS, FOR A POOR, POSTHUMOUS CHILD.
