Carly Fleischmann was diagnosed with Autism as an infant. Incapable of speech and prone to displays of unusual behavior, many lost the hope that she would ever be capable of intelligence. She therefore surprised her parents and therapists when she demonstrated the ability to communicate in perfect English using a computer. Since then Carly has been championing the cause of those affected by Autism.
